Overview
My Waifu Loves Me is a website for discovering new anime/manga using a graph based interface. The user puts in a list of anime/manga that they like, and a graph is shown that they can explore and modify to help them find something to read or watch. It integrates with AniList to allow the user to import their media list and filter the results based on anime/manga they have or have not read/watched.
Why
Sometimes you want to watch an anime similar to a specific mix of titles, like anime X, Y, and Z all at once, but there has never been a good way to find one. The only reasonable option was asking an AI, but the results were really disappointing and usually only included the most mainstream anime, so My Waifu Loves Me was built to do better. Now you can look up anime similar to X, Y, and Z and get a graph of recommendations that share elements from all three. It makes finding something new to watch easy even without keeping up with what shows are coming out.
Exploring the graph is satisfying in its own right. It grows bigger as more entries are added, and its color slowly changes from gray for unseen anime to a colorful rainbow.
